Music: I won't be having any music for a while.

What a long weekend.

I'm not going to try to make this flattering or poetic in any form. I'll just dive right in.

DAY 1

We had our infamous Port Dickson trip on Thursday. The group consisted of 13 people. 4 girls and the rest were guys. Clearly highly outnumbered. But that's always the case with us.

We left in close to 2 in the afternoon. It had been raining the whole morning and unfortunately, it continued to drizzle throughout the entire journey. Had 3 cars take the whole group there.

Arrived 2 hours later at an awesome apartment/suite place. The pools were amazing and they even had a spa! But that was commonly occupied by the cats that stray by. The rooms were really good. Spacious and very comfortable. Thanks to Gordan and his mom especially for hooking us up with such a good place. :)

We bummed around until it was time for dinner. As usual, the boys were starving. (when are they never?) Had chinese food down the road.

We got to drink later at night. No one got drunk. Had abit of beer and vodka ice. Nothing too serious. We couldn't afford it anyway.

DAY 2

Woke up early, somehow. The plan was to dive into the freezing pool. Crazily enough, I did it eventhough it was my first day of my menstrual cycle. The water was- to no one's surprise -absolutely cold. Had a short game of water polo and them wrestling. Don't ask. It was fun to watch though.

The rest of the day was slow. We were exhausted. Some of us slept. I catched up on reading. In the evening was volleyball. Wasn't too good at that.

Had Japanese for dinner. That left a whole in my purse. Sat out at the balcony of the apartment after everything to talk while sipping beer. Those were good times.

DAY 3

Left earlier than the rest with Jojo, Eric and Kok Seng. Silly ride home. Jojo was tempted to go more than 120 and Kok Seng wasn't helping by always prompting him to do so. Anyways, thanks Jo. I made just in time for choir. Don't know about Eric and his luncheon. Haha.

I'm done with the writing. Pictures are up next!

By our pool.

Posing.

Jojo and his chest.

The only good shot of me and her lying down.

A clearly exhausted Eric.

As a summary, PD this year was good despite the occasional moments of boredome. The late nights and constant football games on the PS2. The gambling and cuddling. The rusted iron kettle and raw eggs for breakfast. Starry skies and cool breezes by the balcony. Freezing mornings and crammed bedrooms.

Defintely a trip worth remembering. :)
